Five people injured in downtown Austin shooting
AUSTIN, Texas - Five people are in the hospital after a mass shooting that occurred overnight in downtown Austin.
Austin Police responded to a shots fired call around 3 a.m. Sunday morning at the 500 block of east 7th street, near the Arch.

When officers arrived they found five people suffering life-threatening gunshot wounds.
EMS transported these victims to the local trauma center.
Details on the shooting are limited. APD has not released a motive for the shooting and no updates on th4e victims have been shared.
