FOX 7 Discussion: Abbott’s letter on resettlement of new refugees in Texas

Travis County GOP chairman Matt Mackowiak and Progress Texas senior strategist Glenn Smith join Mike Warren to discuss the governor's recent letter on the resettlement of new refugees in Texas.

Gov. Greg Abbott says the state will reject the resettlement of new refugees, making Texas the first state to do so under a recent Trump administration order.

In a letter, Abbott wrote that Texas "has been left by Congress to deal with disproportionate migration issues resulting from a broken federal immigration system." He added that Texas has done "more than its share."
