AUSTIN, Texas - A formal presentation was made Monday on CapMetro's multi-billion dollar transportation plan, Project Connect.
The briefing was given to members of the Austin City Council and CapMetro's board of directors. Project managers said the entire plan would be built in phases, with some parts taking as long as 30 years to complete, but several other big parts, like two light rail lines and fast lane buses, could be done in about ten years.
