AUSTIN, Texas - There's an extreme wildfire risk in Austin and firefighters are calling for change before it's too late.

Just last week, a group of California fire experts came to Austin to check out how vulnerable our area is to a wildfire outbreak.

A recent report shows Austin has the fifth-highest wildfire risk in the nation, and that 53,000 Austinites live in high, extreme risk areas.
