FOX 7 Discussion: Gov. Abbott on rising COVID-19 number in Texas
AUSTIN, Texas - COVID-19 numbers in Texas continue to soar.
The number of new cases released Tuesday jumped substantially by 5,489, a new single-day record for Texas.
So far, the state has had a total of 120,370 cases of COVID-19. There were also 28 deaths since Monday, bringing the state's death toll to 2,220. More than 70,000 people have recovered from the virus.
