FOX 7 Discussion: HAAM CEO on resources for struggling Austin musicians
AUSTIN, Texas - Hundreds of local Austin musicians are now struggling to make ends meet.
The Health Alliance for Austin Musicians recently distributed an emergency survey to its members and received more than 700 responses.
Roughly three-quarters of the responses say they've lost thousands in expected income because of COVID-19, and now they're struggling to pay for basic needs, including food, rent and prescriptions.
HAAM CEO Reenie Collins joins Marcel Clarke to talk about available resources for Austin musicians struggling to make ends meet due to COVID-19.
