AUSTIN, Texas - The Texas Attorney General's Office says more than 230,000 people could be victims of human trafficking at any given time in Texas.
Data from the National Human Trafficking Hotline shows the number of cases reported in Texas each year continues to grow.

There were about 450 cases reported in 2015, and that number reached 1,000 in 2018.
