AUSTIN, Texas - After a special election earlier this month, former Travis County Judge Sarah Eckhardt will join the Texas Senate.
She will succeed State Sen. Kirk Watson, who retired to be the founding dean of the Hobby School of Public Affairs in April. Eckhardt will represent District 14.
