AUSTIN, Texas - This year's Amplify Austin Day is more important than ever as Central Texans are recovering from the February winter storm and still dealing with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The region's busiest day of giving officially kicks off at 6 p.m. tonight (3/4) and goes on for 24 hours. You can donate to close to 700 local nonprofits that represent 19 different cause categories ranging from basic needs, disaster response, animal care & services, arts & culture, racial equity, and more.
I Live Here I Give Here says this year's goal for Amplify Austin Day is not just to raise critical funds but to double the participation from years prior to 60,000 unique individual donors.

In the past eight years, Amplify has raised more than $69 million for hundreds of local organizations, including $12.3 million for 760 Central Texas nonprofits in 2020.

A special fund has been set up that you can donate to which provides critical matching dollars to more than 130 nonprofits on the front lines responding to the recent winter storm events. Benefiting organizations focus on basic needs, disaster relief & emergency response, human services, and housing, shelter, &, homelessness.

For the first time ever there will be a round-the-clock livestream called Amplify LIVE produced in partnership with C3 Presents. The livestream will feature the local nonprofit community, Amplify Austin Day’s leading sponsors, Central Texans who inspire generosity, celebrity guests, businesses, and media leaders, as well as music performances.
