Golden Globes 2025: Glen Powell, Timothée Chalamet lookalikes attend red carpet

LOS ANGELES - We're seeing double at the Golden Globes!

Glen Powell lookalike and Austinite Maxwell Braunstein attended the Golden Globes red carpet in California with Timothée Chalamet lookalike Miles Mitchell.

Both posed on the red carpet with signs saying "I won a lookalike contest, and now I'm at the Golden Globes."

Powell was also in attendance at the event, as he was nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for his role in Hit Man. Videos and photos from the red carpet showed the meeting between Powell and his doppleganger.

Braunstein recently won the Glen Powell lookalike contest held at Auditorium Shores held in late November, beating out quite a few competitors for the title. 

Braunstein won $5, a cowboy hat, free queso from Torchy's for a year and a thumbs up from Glen's mom Cyndy Powell, who was in attendance in the crowd with the actor on FaceTime.

"Blessed that your mother thinks I'm anything like ya," said Braunstein in November.

Glen Powell himself gave the contest and winner a stamp of approval with a video message to organizers offering a special prize of the winner's parents or family member of their choice getting a cameo in his next movie.
