Hays CISD suspended normal operations through April 5

Hays Consolidated Independent School District says due to the coronavirus it will be suspending normal operations at its schools and offices until April 5 and at that time it will determine its next steps.

Officials say this means that all in-person classes and activities are canceled until that date and the district says it believes this action is necessary to help the community slow the spread of coronavirus.
