HAYS COUNTY, Texas - Hays County will soon be joining the growing list of counties in Texas that are issuing stay at home orders. Those orders will also reportedly include a curfew that will be set for residents.
Hays County Judge Ruben Becerra said on Twitter that he would issue the orders later today.
"The number of COVID-19 cases continues to grow, with a total of 10 cases now reported this morning," Judge Becerra said in his tweet on March 25. "The order will be similar to those in Central Texas. This is a necessary step to stop the spread."
It is not clear at this time if officials will hold a press conference.
