Homicide in SE Austin

The Austin Police Department is investigating a homicide in Southeast Austin.

APD says at around 6 p.m. on September 8, dispatch received several 9-1-1 disturbance calls about an incident in the 2500 block of Teri Road just west of South Pleasant Valley.

When officers arrived, they found a Hispanic male victim with obvious injuries. 

Life-saving measures were administered, but they were ultimately unsuccessful, and the man died at the scene.

APD says a person was arrested on Monday, Sept. 9.

Officials say this is an isolated incident and that there is no danger to the public.
