I-35 northbound lanes to close between US 183, Rundberg Lane Monday night

AUSTIN, Texas - Drivers, if you use I-35 in your nightly commute in North Austin, you should expect delays and probably seek alternate routes Monday night.

TxDOT Austin has announced that all I-35 northbound main lanes between US 183 and Rundberg Lane will be closed overnight from 10 p.m. Monday night to 5 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The closure is for crews to remove a sign bridge.

Southbound I-35 main lanes will be reduced down to two lanes.

In addition to the closure in North Austin, the northbound I-35 right lane will be closed nightly between Oltorf Street and the Woodland Avenue entrance ramp Monday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
