Jolly Rancher popsicles recalled due to possible milk contamination

A recall has been issued for Jolly Rancher popsicles because the products may contain milk.
Unilever is recalling 137,000 cases of its Popsicle Jolly Rancher Frozen Confection products (single serve offerings) because the products might contain milk, which is not an ingredient in the frozen treats, according to a Food and Drug Administration recall notice.
The company announced that milk in the popsicles could pose a danger to people with milk allergies or sensitivities.

Two cases of allergic reactions to the popsicles were reported in a Food & Drug Administration notice, but no other Unilever products have been recalled so far.
According to the FDA, the recalled popsicles are single-serving items typically sold at ice cream trucks, concession stands, and grab-and-go freezers nationwide.
Separately, the recall does not apply to 18-count Popsicle Jolly Rancher multipack products that are sold in grocery stores and retailers.
The popsicles were distributed nationally to wholesale distributors and operators between February 1, 2024, and August 15, 2024. The FDA noted that the applicable UPC and lot codes can be found on the outside wrapper of the product.
People who bought the recalled products should not eat them and should visit PopsicleRecall.com. Customer service representatives are available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.ET, at (888) 926-3554. A refund will be provided to consumers with proof of purchase.
