Killeen Police investigate overnight shooting
KILLEEN, Texas - A man has been shot and killed in Killeen overnight.
At approximately 1:59 a.m. on June 14, deputies with the Killeen Police Department responded to a call of shots fired at the intersection of Florence Road and Evergreen Drive.

Upon arriving on scene police located a man with a gunshot wound who was not breathing. The man was pronounced deceased at 2:52 am.m. and an autopsy was ordered to be performed at the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas.
The identity of the victim is currently being withheld until the family has been notified.
