Killeen police investigating shooting death in Killeen

KILLEEN, Texas - The Killeen Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a man in Killeen.

According to KPD, officers responded to a 911 call about a gunshot victim in the 800 block of College Street just after 7:30 a.m. Dec. 30.

Officers found an unresponsive 29-year-old man, who was pronounced dead 20 minutes later.

An autopsy has been ordered and the victim's name has been withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
