AUSTIN, Texas - A 9-1-1 call prompted a search on Lady Bird Lake for two potentially missing paddle boarders Sunday night.
ATCEMS reported on social media that EMS and fire crews were searching on the lake around 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 24. However, by around 9 p.m., the search had been called off.
ATCEMS said the search by boat, drone and along the shore took crews from I-35 to MoPac, but no paddle boarders were located.
Austin police told FOX 7 Austin Monday that a woman had called 9-1-1 saying she couldn't find her boyfriend, but when police, fire and EMS responded to the scene, they could not locate her.
