Time is just about up if you want to be able to vote in the November general election. People have until midnight if you want a say in who becomes our next president as well as other offices and issues.
So far about 90 percent of eligible voters in Travis County have registered. County officials expect that number to go up with a last minute rush.
Voting machines are being dusted off, booted up and ballots for 25,000 people who will vote by mail are also being processed.
In Texas, you can not register online but Travis county is doing the next best thing. It's set up a bank of computers at the tax office where you can type in your info.
Officials expect 100,000 more people to be eligible to vote in Travis County than for the 2012 presidential election.
But despite all the work, many who sign up may not vote. In 2012 nearly 40 percent of the eligible voters in Travis County stayed home.
The Travis County Registrar's Office on Airport will be open until midnight.
You can also head to votetexas.gov and click on "Register to Vote" where you can print out your mail in registration which must be in the mail today.
Thundercloud Subs and Alamo Drafthouse locations will also register people to vote from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
