PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. - A Peachtree City family got a surprise last week when a little pig showed up in their yard, and now the pig has found a new forever home.
John and Dana Pope first corralled the pig in their backyard. They were very surprised that the lost pig made himself right at home and became instant best friends with their dog, Mason.
The Popes eventually found the pig's owner after taking to social media, but the former owner didn't want him back. She said he was "too hard to contain" and kept running away.
So, the Popes decided to officially make the pig, now called Kevin Bacon, a member of their family.
Kevin Bacon now lives at a home on Lake Peachtree with a fenced yard, swimming pool, and his pal, Mason.
