Water main break on MLK causes water outages
East Austin residents were without water Thursday after a water line broke on MLK Boulevard.
AUSTIN, Texas - A major water main break in East Austin shut down East Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. this morning near Springdale Road.
Photos show a geyser over the intersection.
E. MLK was blocked in both directions, but ATX Transportation and Public Works says the situation has been resolved.
The road has since been reopened.
