Man arrested after multi-county crime spree, says Fayette County Sheriff's Office
AUSTIN, Texas - The Fayette County Sheriff's Office says a man is in jail after a crime spree that spread across four counties.
Oscar Correa, 52, of New Ulm, Texas has been charged with criminal trespass and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. FCSO says Correa also had warrants out of Waller and Austin counties for burglary, assault, theft, and evading arrest.

According to a release from FCSO, La Grange police officers responded to the Fayette County Precinct 1 Barn on Jan. 4 to reports of a stolen county pickup truck and dump trailer.

A man was found in the woods behind the barn with the stolen pickup's keys in his pocket. The truck was later found damaged in a Beall's parking lot.

A later follow-up revealed that the stolen dump trailer was in the Chappell Hill area of Washington County.
