Man arrested in Manor following shooting in North Austin
AUSTIN, Texas - Austin police arrested a man in Manor who fired several shots at another car Wednesday morning in North Austin.
Austin police received the shots fired call around 10:20 a.m. According to APD, four to five shots were fired.
Officers arrived on scene and spoke with three people who said they saw a vehicle driving erratically on I-35. They followed the car until they got to Hearthside Drive off US 183 and things became violent.
APD says the suspect pulled out onto Hearthside Drive and got out of his vehicle, displaying a firearm.
APD says no one was injured and the suspect left the scene. They found his vehicle at a shopping center at Anderson Lane and Lamar in Austin.
The suspect, described as a thin black man with tattoos on his neck and face, was found and arrested without incident on Eggleston Street in Manor.
