APD gives update on robbery of French Bulldogs
FULL VIDEO: The Austin Police Department gave an update on an aggravated robbery case that led to two stolen French Bulldogs.
AUSTIN, Texas - Austin police have arrested a man for shooting another man and taking his French Bulldog in East Austin.
The dog has since been found and reunited with its owner.

The backstory:
Police said on Feb. 2, around 8:45 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated robbery in the 1100 block of Shady Lane.
A victim was walking his two dogs in an apartment complex when the suspect, Raderrick Harvey, drove up to the victim and asked about his French Bulldog, Freya.
Harvey demanded the victim give him the dog.
When the victim refused, Harvey shot the victim in the foot and stole Freya.
While trying to leave, Harvey dragged and ran over a second dog.

The second dog had minor injuries.
On Feb. 4, officials found Harvey in Elgin and arrested him.
Officials say Harvey had two rifles and a small amount of drugs on him. He was placed in the Bastop County Jail.
