Man charged for harassment of public servant after spitting on TCSO deputy
JONESTOWN, Texas - A man has been charged after reportedly spitting on a Travis County Sheriff's Office deputy.
The incident happened on May 24 at around 6:30 p.m. on Lake Travis in Jonestown.
Court documents say that the deputy was helping a Jonestown Police Department officer transport an intoxicated swimmer from Little Devils Hollow Cove to Emerald Point Marina in his assigned patrol boat.

The swimmer was arrested by the Jonestown Police Department officer for evading arrest and detention.
The deputy says that the swimmer attempted to stand up while the boat was in motion so the deputy used his body weight to keep the swimmer seated and prevent him from jumping out of the boat.

That's when the deputy says the swimmer spit in his face.
The swimmer has been identified as 23-year-old Nathaniel Isaac Yannuzzi. He's been charged with harassment of a public servant which is a third-degree felony.
