Man hit by cars in SE Austin dies at hospital

AUSTIN, Texas - A man has died after being hit by two cars in Southeast Austin early Friday morning.

The Austin Police Department said the man was hit at around 1:30 a.m. in the 6700 block of Bluff Springs Road just south of William Cannon.

Investigators believe the man was hit by two vehicles. They said only one of those drivers stayed on the scene and cooperated with police.

The man was taken to a hospital where he died about two hours later.

The case is still under investigation.
