Man injured in overnight boat crash

AUSTIN, Texas - A man was injured in a boat crash on the Colorado River early Tuesday morning, according to Austin Travis County EMS.

Medics said the boat crashed around 12:30 am on the Lake Austin golf course near the Pennybacker Bridge.

A man in his 30s had to be rescued and taken to South Austin Medical Center, according to medics.

Austin Travis County EMS expects the man to survive his injuries.

Crews also searched for a dog, but were not able to find it.
