Man killed in auto-pedestrian crash in South Austin

AUSTIN, Texas - A man was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash in South Austin Thursday night.

ATCEMS reported the man was pronounced dead around 7:42 p.m.

EMS, police and fire units responded to the crash on the I-35 South southbound service road at William Cannon Drive at 7:18 p.m. CPR was reported in progress according to the Austin Police Department.

ATCEMS says to expect closures, avoid the area and to seek alternate routes.
