MANOR, Texas - The Manor Independent School District was able to recover an initial amount of approximately $800,000 after a phishing email scam that resulted in the loss of approximately $2.3 million.
The phishing scam happened in November and over the course of three separate transactions.
Manor ISD said in a recent press release that the school district has developed additional internal security protocols with a variety of training and testing efforts designed to continually educate staff, which assure that the protocols are being followed.
