Meals on Wheels Central Texas will deliver meals every two weeks
AUSTIN, Texas - Meals on Wheels Central Texas (MOWCTX) has announced that going forward, it will deliver two-week supplies of shelf-stable lunches every two weeks to the homebound seniors it serves.
The organization said in a press release that the schedule change will decrease the number of interactions between volunteers and clients. All volunteers have also been instructed on how to safely deliver meals while also exercising social distancing.
MOWCTX will keep the schedule until the stay-at-home orders end.
