Mega Millions drawing: 2 Texas tickets win $40,000 prize

AUSTIN - No one won the $760 million jackpot in Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing, but some people did take home some pretty large prizes.
Mega Millions Jackpot Lottery Numbers - 12/17/24
The winning numbers in Tuesday night's drawing were 56, 66, 67, 68 and 69 with the Mega Ball of 18.
One ticket in North Carolina won a $4 million prize for matching all 5 white balls and selecting the 4x Megaplier.
Two California tickets, a Louisiana ticket and an Oklahoma ticket each won a million dollar prize.
Mega Millions Winners Texas - 12/17/24
The biggest prizes of the night were not sold in Texas, but there were several winners.
According to the Texas Lottery, 130,400 people won some sort of prize in Tuesday night's drawing.
Two tickets sold in Texas won $40,000 after matching four of the five white balls, matching the Mega Ball and choosing the Megaplier option.
When is the next Mega Millions drawing?
Drawings are conducted at 10 p.m. CT on Tuesdays and Fridays in Atlanta, Georgia.
The next drawing is on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024.
The jackpot stands at an estimated $825 million, including a $382.2 million cash option. If won at the current level, it would also be the largest prize ever won in December.
