Missing Austin man found, says TCSO

AUSTIN, Texas - UPDATE: Gene Harold McMeen has been found, says the Travis County Sheriff's Office.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 74-year-old Austin man.

Gene Harold McMeen was last seen Monday at 3:43 p.m. in the 12900 block of I-35 North in Austin.

McMeen has brown hair and brown eyes and is 5'11" and 225 lbs. He was last seen wearing a Cowboy or Longhorn shirt, jogging pants and a Longhorns ballcap.

He was last seen with a white 2008 Chrysler 300 car with the Texas license plate number of DDG-1801.Gene Harold McMeen was last seen Monday at 3:43 p.m. in the 12900 block of I-35 North in Austin.
