AUSTIN, Texas - UPDATE: Austin Police Department has released a statment alerting the public that Mr. Alfredo Gonzales has been located and is safe.
The Texas Department of Public Safety was asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing 80-year-old man from Austin, Texas.
Alfredo Gonzales was last seen in the 200 block of West Odell Street in the early morning of Sunday, September 22.
No further details have been released at this time.
