As more businesses reopen across the state, one in North Austin is looking to give back to those on the front lines fighting COVID-19.

Main Event is taking a lot of steps to help stop the spread of coronavirus while still letting customers back in to play some pool, go bowling, and hit up the arcade. Steps like wiping down games after someone uses them.

Chantz Cutts was one of the customers who was out at Main Event over the weekend. He says he's glad to see more places open especially if they are being safe about it.

Cutts says he's been working from home so he likes being able to get out of the house and is "excited things are opening back up."

"One, to be able to things and two, the economy and get things going again," Cutts says. "People are hurting and they need it."

Main Event says all of its locations in Texas are going to giving back to healthcare workers and those workers and their families will be able to cut loose and have some fun for free. All they'll have to do is bring in a valid photo ID.

Cutts thinks it's a great idea.

"Compared to my work what I do at home isn't near as much as what they do," Cutts says. "So to be able to get out ad get their minds off everything as this has been going for (awhile) now will be a really good thing."
