Nova Scotia homeowner interrupts buck snacking on holiday plants: Caught on camera

(FOX 9) - A Nova Scotia homeowner deterred a hungry buck from enjoying her holiday porch decorations with the help of her security camera.

What we know: Katherine English spotted the deer on her front porch through her Ring doorbell camera and used the speaker to try and get the buck from munching on her seasonal plants.

"Excuse me, buck? Hey, hi. Can you stop eating my holiday arrangement? Back up buddy," English said in the video she shared with Storyful.

The buck looks up at the camera while chewing on the greenery and starts to walk down the porch stairs, but pauses for a moment before trying to get a final bite of the seasonal arrangement. 

"No, no! Stop," English yells.

The buck eventually gives up, turns around and walks toward the snow-covered front lawn.
