Investigators are working to figure out what caused an early morning house fire in south Austin.
The flames broke out in 2700 block of Dupont around 3:45 a.m.
Austin Fire Department says one person lives in the home and woke up to the sound of the smoke alarm going off. She ran outside and asked her neighbor to call 9-1-1.
Officials say the working smoke alarm helped keep the woman safe.
It's not clear the extent of the damage the fire caused.
