One killed after collision between car and motorcycle
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - The Austin Police Department responded to a fatal collision between a car and a motorcycle on Wednesday morning.
APD says the crash happened at Oltorf and 5th Street when a driver of a Mini Cooper lost control and began to slide. Police say the Mini Cooper then slid into the path of an oncoming motorcycle and the driver of the motorcycle t-boned the car. The driver of the motorcycle, a male in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
It was initially reported the crash was between a scooter and car, but police later clarified.
