AUSTIN, Texas - Pabst Blue Ribbon is rolling out their 99 pack in limited quantities this holiday season and plans to honor the original creators of the 99 pack, Austin Beerworks, with a donation to the Central Texas Food Bank.
PBR will donate $9999.99 to the Central Texas Food Bank to help feed the Austin community.
Austin Beerworks launched a 99-pack of its Peacemaker Anytime Ale in 2014, making headlines with the seven-foot-long, 82-pound box of brews.
“Ideas are hard and they don’t all stick,” PBR general manager Matt Bruhn said. “The 99 pack was a chance for us to pay homage to a great idea, give the world more beer to enjoy responsibly over the holiday season and help a local community.”
The Pabst Blue Ribbon 99 pack will contain a combination of Pabst Blue Ribbon Original, Extra and Easy.
The 99 pack will be available while supplies last and is available in Texas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Florida, New York, South Carolina, Montana, Virginia, California, Wisconsin, Iowa, Alaska and Colorado.
