An investigation is underway into a suspicious death in Williamson County.
Granger police were called out around 7:30 p.m. on June 19 for a welfare check in the 700 block of East Fox Street.
When officers arrived they found the body of a white woman in her 40s. Police called in the Williamson County Sheriff's Office investigative team to help with the case.
Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody says the woman's body had probably been in the home for a few days. He says they don't have any suspects in custody at the time but they don't believe the public is at risk.
