Pflugerville City Council to hold special meeting to discuss reopening of Lake Pflugerville

The Pflugerville City Council will convene virtually in a special meeting to discuss and consider action regarding the reopening of Lake Pflugerville.

Due to the Travis County Order to stay home and to encourage social distancing, the City Council is continuing to meet remotely. 

The telephone and video meeting to be held on Thursday, May 21 at 6 p.m. will be hosted through WebEx, where residents will be able to listen and watch in the following ways:

  •     Via WebEx: Register for the meeting online (Access Code: 967 644 092)
  •     Via telephone: Call 1-408-418-9388 (U.S. Toll) for listen-only mode
  •     Via PfTV: Watch live online or Public Access Channel 17

All changes to City services and facility access will be posted on the city's website

Public comment will only be allowed via telephone or video conference on WebEx, says the city. All speakers must register at least two hours before the meeting. All public comment will occur at the beginning under the public comment item.

Speakers must call in at least 15 minutes prior in order to speak. Written comments may also be submitted two hours in advance. Anyone wanting to register to speak or to submit written comments should email the City secretary.

An audio recording of the virtual meeting will be made available to the public upon written request in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.
