Police identify victim in deadly auto-pedestrian crash in San Marcos

SAN MARCOS, Texas - Police have identified the victim who was killed while trying to cross I-35 in San Marcos as 46-year-old Bonnie Terraciano of Austin.

Terraciano was attempting to cross the highway around 6 a.m. on Monday, December 23 when she was struck by several vehicles, according to police. The deadly auto-pedestrian collision happened near the 207-mile marker, just north of Aquarena Springs Drive.

No charges are expected to be filed for the drivers who struck the pedestrian.

This is the 12th traffic fatality in San Marcos for 2019.
