Police investigating homicide in SW Killeen
KILLEEN, Texas - The Killeen Police Department is investigating a shooting in southwest Killeen that left a man dead Monday night.
Officers were called to the 2800 block of Kerrville Court just after 9 p.m. June 1 in reference to a 911 call about shots fired. When officers arrived, they found a man on the ground in front of a home with a gunshot wound and not breathing, says Killeen police.

The man, 30-year-old Ricky Darnell Ball, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:49 p.m. An autopsy has been ordered.
