Austin convenience store robbed on Christmas, police searching for suspect

Austin police are looking for a man they say robbed a convenience store on Christmas Day.

What We Know: The robbery happened around 7:30 p.m. on Christmas Day at the Pronto Mart on Duval Street.

Police say the suspect made threats to an employee at the Pronto Mart and ran from the scene with cash from the register.

Surveillance photos released by the department show the suspect in a distinctive ACL Live hat, a blue flannel shirt and sunglasses.

What We Don't Know: Police are not disclosing how much money the man took from the register.
