Texas Longhorns football player helps donate gifts to kids ahead of Christmas

Raising Cane's and Texas Longhorns wide receiver Isaiah Bond collaborated to roll out donations before Christmas. Bond presented the Raising Cane's Holiday Bike donations on Thursday in Cedar Park

"When I was their age, I had role models my age, so it's a feeling for me to be in this position I'm in right now," said Isaiah Bond.

One hundred bikes and helmets were gifted to the Boys and Girls Club in the Austin area. The youth organization serves thousands of children ages six to 18 across Travis County.

"Seeing their faces light up, it just kinda pulls at your heart, and this is exactly why our organization does what it does," said Alison Hall, the Chief Operations Officer of the Boys & Girls Club.

Christmas at Cane's was a sight with carolers, children showing off their new set of wheels riding through a tunnel of lights, and the smell of chicken fingers.

"This means a lot to me to just be able to come back around Christmastime and give back to the kids, especially with my fellow teammates here, Jahdae Barron here, Gunnar Helms here, and Tre Wisner was here as well, so just giving back to the community is a great feeling," said Bond.

This was the fifth consecutive year Raising Cane's has partnered with youth organizations nationwide to make a difference and bring smiles to children's faces.
