Longhorns and Aggies have been missing the traditional rival football game since 2011. Now the current student body president and vice president are hoping to bring it back.

A university-wide vote on wether to bring back the traditional rivalry will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 27, according to KRV News, a UT Austin student run newscast. Student Body President Alejandrina Guzman and Vice President Micky Wolf said in an email posted on KRV's Twitter that they have spoken with University leadership and are collecting survey data to bring to "key decision makers."

The vote will reportedly be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at utexasvote.org.
