Residents of Round Rock apartment complex evacuated after fire
ROUND ROCK, Texas - Residents of an apartment complex in Rond Rock were evacuated after a structure fire broke out on February 2. The fire impacted several people and emergency crews were on scene for hours.
After the initial investigation, officials believe that the building the fire started in didn't have a sprinkler system in it.
The first has damaged more than a half dozen buildings and displaced more than 20.
The fire broke out in the 7700 block of O'Conner Drive. Residents from the apartment complex were evacuated as firefighters battled the fire.

Most residents were able to return to their apartments. Residents whose apartments were damaged by the fire are being helped by the American Red Cross to find temporary shelter.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
