Round Rock ISD warns parents about late bus arrivals home
The Round Rock ISD announced Wednesday its transportation department is experiencing high ridership leading to overcrowded conditions on some of the district's buses.
The district warns parents that some buses will be doing double runs for routes that are experiencing overcrowding, meaning it may delay the students’ arrival home in the afternoon by up to 45 minutes.
RRISD says they are in the process of identifying the routes that are overcrowded and working to alleviate the issues as soon as possible.
A total of 14 buses combined from Cedar Ridge, McNeil, Round Rock, Stony Point and Westwood high schools, as well as Canyon Vista, Cedar Valley and Ridgeview middle schools could be affected.
