San Marcos Target thefts: Women take merchandise from same store twice

The San Marcos Police Department is asking the public for help identifying two women who took more than $1,000 worth of merchandise from a downtown San Marcos Target store.

The women took the merchandise in two different incidents.

The first happened on December 10. Police say the women walked out with a shopping cart of merchandise worth more than $600 without paying.

The women loaded the items into a tan GMC Yukon with the license plate number FSS9839 and left the store.

The second happened ten days later on December 20. The same women returned to the same store and left with more than $400 worth of merchandise without paying in the same GMC Yukon as the first incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Bennett at 512-753-2130.
