Six Flags Fiesta announces park closure amid coronavirus concerns

Six Flags Fiesta Texas has announced that they will be closing their park from March 14 until the of the month amid COVID-19 coronavirus concerns. 

The amusement park took to social media to announce the park closure, citing that the park remains committed to the health and safety of park guests and team members. 

The announcement comes a day after other large amusement parks such as Disney and Universal Studios announced park closures due to coronavirus concerns. 

The park has also stated that there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 on the property as of the day of the announcement, but the park says its closing to ensure safety.

Six Flags will re-evaluate the situation at the end of the month saying, "We will continue to closely monitor these evolving conditions, and will follow these evolving conditions, and will follow the most current guidance from federal, state, and local officials."
