Stabbing near UT campus after altercation: police

AUSTIN, Texas - Austin police are investigating a stabbing that was reported in West Campus near UT.

It happened around 7 p.m. near the intersection of 26th and Nueces streets.

Police say an altercation between two men escalated into a stabbing.

The injuries are not believed to be serious, and there's no word on any arrests.
